Could you tell me what not to miss on Celebration? My brother & family are going on the 29th - I was supposed to go with but can't. They have never been on Carnival (& I've never been on Celebration; just Holiday many years ago). Any advice would be helpful! Also, what is the earliest you've gotten on?

Do not miss Sail-away from the Lido Deck. When the ship sails under the bridge (about 10 minutes after leaving port) it will look like the ship will hit the bridge...and has to go directly under the very middle of the bridge.

It is an awesom sight.

A few other things...

1) Be sure to go to the shopping talk, and sit up close and yell loud to win lots of free stuff...

2) Also arrive at the first show early, where they will introduce the staff, and have lots of other freebies...

3) The Midnight Mexican Buffet is a lot of fun

4) The Lido Buffet has two sides...one is the "Taste of the Nations" focusing on different tastes, while the other is more traditional buffet tastes.

5) Look in the Casino for a Double Diamond Machine next to a Haywire machine....we won $800 on it, and $50 on the Haywire.

6) When you go to Key West, know the buffet lines will be very long.

7) Bacardi Rum cakes taste better then the Tortuga Rum cakes...

8) In key West do not miss eating Chocolate Key Lime Pie on a stick!! It is incredible!!!

9) In Nassau....go to Atlantis...and buy some Nassau Royal...this is some amazing smoothe rum and is not availabe anywhere else.

10) See Brie in the Piano lounge and Mary in Karaoke...my favorite spots.

Ok..that is a few to start things off...

Ditto to everything Jabee said. Also:

-if they like sushi, its available a few nights (I believe three) at the Trolley from 5:00-8:00 and is pretty good. The selections change.

-this ship had the most well-run art auction I have been to. Great information, free champagne, and no pressure to buy.

-by all means, get the creme brulee served on the last night in the dining room, its out of this world!

-Jaxport is by far the easiest port I have sailed out of. Some of the others could learn a lot from them about organization.

I too am sailing on the Celebration the 29 with my family. Thanks for all of the great tips. Is there a better place to be to see the ship go under the bridge - back? front? Got a great upgrade on the ship from Inside guarantee to Category 6C oceanview - hope it stays since it is on my documents!!
