how much is cab fare from mia airport to port?

Wondering if anyone knows how much cab fare ranges from the miami airport to intercontinental hotel near the port? We are trying to figure out if we should just catch a cab or rent a car for the day before our cruise in Nov. Also wondering if any of you know of any car rental places that will drop you off at the port when you return the vehicle?

It should be about $24.00 give or take a buck. I've read somewhere in the past that Alamo will drop you off at the port. They have an office close and run shuttles over.

Yes, it's supposed to be a flat rate, but I certainly wouldn't be surprised if there was a fuel surcharge by now.

Fuel surcharge of $1 per person has been in place since last October for both MIA and FLL. :rolleyes:

We took a cruise out of Miami this past May. Cab fare from MIA to the port and back was a flat $24 each way. No surcharge of any kind. There were four of us... we took a regular cab from the airport and we took a cab that was a van after the cruise back to the airport.
