cancelling cruise

Princess will require you to cancel through your TA, and your TA should handle it just as promptly as Princess. Just be aware that the cruise lines make the charges to your credit card instantly, but the credits take a little longer. It isn't your TA's fault if it takes several days to see your credit appear.

When we cancelled cruises we called our travel agent to let her know and then immediately faxed a cancellation letter to her. We have always had immediate responses from her. If she is out of town, she always has another agent covering for her and that agent will quickly respond. (As with anything else the specific response time will depend upon your particular agent.)
