jerseygirl3 Posted July 24, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2006 Can anybody tell me if the balcony partitions can be opened on the Century? Our family has 5 Concierge Class balcony cabins in a row and we were hoping to be able to pass through the balconies.

Rare Jim_Iain Posted July 24, 2006 #3 Share Posted July 24, 2006 The balcony partitions are fixed and do not allow for passage between cabins.
jakenashleysmom Posted July 24, 2006 #4 Share Posted July 24, 2006 I'm hoping you two are both wrong! I've seen pictures of Celebrity ships with balcony dividers open, and I'm hoping the new balconies (CC) do the same on Century! Anyone have links to the photos, please? I am also waiting on an answer from Cruise Critic Carolyn, who is aboard the Century right now.:)

Gitte Posted July 24, 2006 #6 Share Posted July 24, 2006 Bonnie, We sailed on the New Century and the balcony dividers can not open. We have dined in the Murano "wine cellar". Gitte :)
jakenashleysmom Posted July 24, 2006 #7 Share Posted July 24, 2006 Thanks for the info, I was waiting to hear from somebody that had actually sailed on the new Century. Thats too bad, must be a good reason, I assume. Did you make specific reservations for the wine room, or just lucked into it? That would really make our trip special if we could arrange it! Gitte Posted July 24, 2006 #8 Share Posted July 24, 2006 Bonnie, This was our second dining in the Murano, we made a reservation for a party of 4 but invited our tablemates to join us. The "wine cellar" was the only possibility for 6 guests at that time. We enjoyed it very much. Gitte
