November Cruise..some questions for newbie

We're thinking of doing the November 2, 2006 cruise, 3 days, Port Canaveral-Nassau and back. This is our first cruise and we are curious regarding how the weather will be that time of year, also if the seas are "rougher" then?

Thanks in advance :D

We did the 4 day Port Canaveral, Freeport, Nassau, PC, last Nov 13-17 on Fantasy. It was 85 degrees during the day and probably 75 at night. Seas were only a little rough going through the gulf stream the first night. The seas were very smooth otherwise. We're going again this Nov on Glory out of PC and cannot wait.

Did the Fantasy same time last year and the weather was great, smooth ssailing. Try to check out the aquarium at the Atlantis resort it is quite a sight.

Going on the Imagination 11-2-06 sailing from Miami.

Enjoy

Definately check out the Atlantis...I had heard that the Atlantis had bought and transported the dolphins from New Orleans...has anyone seen them there?...Could this be a "future excursion"? Will be on the Glory in October and am planning to go again to Atlantis and see whats new there...

As usual someone has confused New Orleans with Gulfport/Biloxi. The dolphins came from the "Marine Life Oceanarium" that was located in Gulfport, Mississippi. The two owners of Marine Life are still in the courts over who actually has legal ownership of the dolphins. Sending them to the Bahamas was the best thing for the animals. They will be in a much better evironment than they ever had here. It is questionable if the Oceanarium will ever reopen. One of the owners is a businessman who only cares about the bottom line, the other is a scientiest/marine biologist for NASA and the US Navy, who actually works with the animals.

Will be sailing on the Holiday Aug 14, 06
