Druke I Posted July 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 5, 2004 Reference time, I saw somewhere a note that all times were now Greenwich Mean Time. Many of us lost many numbers posted when they converted to the new system, and started the count over again. I didn't care about that - it will build up again quickly. Globaliser Posted July 5, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 5, 2004 Time zone You need to set your local time zone. You can do it like this:- Click on User CP (link in the top left hand corner of the page) Then click on Edit Options Go down to the Date and Time section Choose your time zone from the drop down bar Also choose whether you want daylight saving time adjustments applied automatically Then go to the bottom of the page and Save Changes Otherwise, what you're seeing is the time of posts in GMT/UTC, which is 4 hours ahead of East Coast daylight saving time. Number of posts A limited number of threads were migrated from the old boards to the new boards. Basically, a thread was moved if it was started on 1 April 2004 or later. Threads that started before then were not moved, even if there were posts to that thread after 1 April 2004. Your post count should be the number of posts which were brought across to the new board. Krazy Kruizers Posted July 5, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 5, 2004 :) And there were a lot of threads after April 1 that did not transfer over. When we got back from our Maasdam cruise at the end of May, I started several posts about the ship, trip, etc. Not one of them transfered over. :)
Globaliser Posted July 6, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 6, 2004 Yes, the HAL board (one of those that I read) had a particular problem. If nothing else, that demonstrated the wisdom of getting out of the old boards and database while there was still something salvageable.

Krazy Kruizers Posted July 6, 2004 #7 Share Posted July 6, 2004 :) Also - before everything was changed to the new system, a lot of information was lost each time the old system crashed. For some unknown reason, the HAL boards were effected the most. :)
