Verizon cell phone service

Does anyone know if Verizon has service in Alaska ports? Kechikan, Juneau, Alyeska, etc.

we had verizion service in all our ports last week

juneau, skagway, icy straights & ketchican but it said extended service haven't clue what that meant hoping it isn't roaming otherwise we will have a million dollar bill next month

I have never had service in Skagway, including this year. But just about in all of interior Alaska with a few dead spots. I have Verizon Nationwide, never been any roaming. My friend has a cheap tracfone- worked wonderful, including out in the middle of nowhere on sea days, and still only 1 unit/min. the entire trip. Got calls in too. I get random calls in and not reliable with my older phone, but consistant service out.
