TolleranzaDelDio Posted August 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2006 Right now we are set up for the first traditional dining seating time. If for some reason we missed our dining time, could we just notify our waiter and go do the anytime dining that night? We aren't planning on missing our scheduled time, but just in case there is an activity or something we want to do that runs over our time I wanted to know if there was anything we could do about it. Thanks!
cherylandtk Posted August 6, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2006 It is very possible, but you should not count on it. If it does happen that you miss your assigned dining time, swing by one of the anytime rooms, speak to the maitre d, explain how sorry you are, and smile. They probably will be happy to accomodate you, especially if your reason is something out of your control. (A late returning ship excursion is better than an onboard activity you chose to attend). If they can't help you, you can still eat at the Horizon Court, which is actually not bad in the evening.

CSkier71 Posted August 7, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 7, 2006 If you miss it then you can just go to the anytime dining. You should be safe as "regulars" beacuse they only usually check your card for the anytime on the first night.
cynbar Posted August 7, 2006 #5 Share Posted August 7, 2006 This seems to vary quite a bit from ship to ship -- some will let traditional diners into the anytime DRs, some won't. Plus, it's really sort of unfair to take up anytime spaces and lengthen the waits for those who chose anytime dining...As some others have posted, the Horizon Court/Cafe Caribe are always options.
