cruisegrl79 Posted October 6, 2009 #76 Share Posted October 6, 2009 So sad it is gone. I had sooo much fun on my Norway Cruise back in 1993. It was such an interesting ship.
Philly Steve Posted October 24, 2009 #77 Share Posted October 24, 2009 During our recent cruise aboard Norwegian Majesty, we had a nice talk with CD Denny Anderson who served as Norway's CD for 15 years. He shared so many wonderful stories about that legendary ship he loved so much. Once, Denny says, his wife joined him in port for a few days and stayed in his cabin. Since so many of Norway's staterooms were equipped with bathtubs, she decided to settle in for a comfortable soak. He says he heard his wife let out a scream. What happened? The bathwater was hot chocolate brown! Denny says he'd always used only the shower, and had no idea there were water issues. Certainly, the Norway was a challenge to maintain, especially toward the end of her run. Anderson is leaving NCL as Majesty moves on.
Goldryder Posted February 16, 2010 #78 Share Posted February 16, 2010 Apologies for digging an old thread up, but not sure if anyone else has seen these photo's of Norway. She was photographed before, during & after breaking...interior & exterior images. The gallery has almost 400 photo's and despite everything, she looked pretty good inside right up to the end... http://www.jd-pro.fr/le_france_galerie.php?lang=en&catp=&catid=&ref=&vue=&mot=&c=&p=&d= :(
