One Last car rental question in Kona

I just rented a car in Kona thru Dollar. We can pick it up at the Hotel right by the pier. When they asked for a return time, I typed in 5:00PM and it came up that the location was closed then. The last time available to return was 4:00PM. As the ship doesn't leave until 6:00PM, we were hoping to stay a bit longer than having to return the car by 4:00. Is this, in fact, the case??

We rented from Dollar at the hotel last fall. As I remember we needed to return it by 4. That worked well as we wanted to be sure to be back in town by then anyway - traffic can get pretty heavy coming back into town. This also gave us time to walk and shop a little right there in town. It was very convenient. Enjoy!

Although the office closes at 4:00, you drop the keys after hours in a special box in the Dollar office in the lobby of the King Kam hotel.
