Need help with gifs

Okay, now that you helped me get my smilies back :D , I need help getting my animated gif back. I can't seem to make it work anymore. What do I need to do? Trying it the "old" way doesn't work -- it just shows the box with a red X, yikes!:eek:

You should be able to edit your signature in the User CP. Paste the url link of your gif between and it should show up each time you post. Make sure you check the box that enables it to be seen.

Thanks, I'll try again. Irene, animatedgif.net is good, but you can do a search on animated gifs and get lots of sites.:D Dang! it still doesn't work. I can't figure out why it dosen't work anymore. Oh, well, I'll just do without.

I don't see a red box in your message. I see a message scrolling across the screen that says "forever cruising". Is that what you are talking about?

Mikey, I'm trying to set an animated gif in my signature. I had a dolphin jumping out of the water before they upgraded the boards and I can't get it to work anymore.

MRIrene, I deleted the red box because it looked stupid! The marquee (forever cruzin) works fine, just not my gif that I used to have in my signature. I tried all the suggestions that everyone gave, in fact, I had already done them -- it just won't work. I can live without it, I just really like it!:(
