Luggage?????

You can but only if your carry-ons are small enough to go thru the x-ray machines at the security checkpoint. The machines are roughly the same size as the ones at an airport. If your bags are too big, they will need to be checked with a porter.

Also, keep in mind that if you get onboard early, your cabin will not be ready until 2 pm. So you need to be willing to drag your bag around with you, which might be a hassle.

Thanks for the info. We only travel with two 22" carry ons. They should fit thru. So having 2 small bags is worth "dragging" around. Thank you.

We always do a roll aboard and a bag hanging off it with computer. Never a problem. (we also send the larger bags through normal loading) I have seen people take much larger bags on the ship and they go through the scanners. They are larger than the ones they use at the airports.

thank you , garycarla. We hate traveling with larger bags. Many times we were always able to get an earlier flight and it always helped if we didn't check bags. thanks again.

On short trips we have done that and life is easier.

But - based on the latest knee jerk reactions, they are cutting back on what you can carry onboard meaning just about everybody has to check something. But, having smaller bags that you can wait and check in after you confirm earlier flights does make life easier.
