I am taking this dress on the cruise .. and I want to know if you think this necklace will be good with it .. i could go Chunkier ..

I like your choice much better than the one on the model. I think it's too chunky for the dress.

My vote would be for neither--I think a necklace will take away from the pretty neckline.

I just bought a dress very similar to this one in a deep purple. I was concerned it was too casual for my cruise, but I'm glad to see someone is bringing a dress like the one I just bought, makes me feel better about the decision.

 

It also doesn't hurt that I got it on clearance for $15 :)

Personally I like the chunkier style myself... and I DEFINATELY think you need some sort of necklace.

Too boring otherwise and the right necklace could actually enhance the neckline.

I think I do like the softer colors in the models... more monochromatic.

That will enhance and not detract form the necklince, I think.

We do all have our preferences, don't we :) , none of us are wrong, just different. If not, we'd all look the same.

 

I love the dress and the necklace the model is wearing. The second necklace scares me, it looks like a spider.

I do really like the dresses that some of you are posting from Newport News, my experience in years past hasn't been the best as far as quality but I think I will give them another try. The pictures are showing really pretty styles.
