We've been upgraded on other lines, didn't expect it but got lucky.

 

I voted for the Diamond and Diamond Plus members, those who have been the most loyal should get the perks.

I think it would be fun for the ship to do a lotto :D Everyone pays $1 for a ticket and if your number is called then you get to move up :p

That is a great idea. Think how much more money they would make by holding a raffle for an upgrade. What if they did that for a regular room. If you wanted to get upgraded to a ocean view pay $2, balcony $3, etc..

They could make millions.

They do offer something like this, it's called Bingo :D However it's more like $35 per ticket for that session ;)

Sorry, but there are far too many honeymooners to upgrade them all. When you've got 200+ honeymooning couples on a cruise that's already pretty well full...well, there's just no way.

 

I vote for Diamond and Diamond+, and then the rest of us loyal C&A members (whom RCI tends to take for granted because they figure they've already "got" us).

 

I have to say it does get annoying when first time cruisers brag (poor form anyway) that they got this great upgrade and "we've never cruised before," while we sit there thinking, "Um, when is it going to be our turn?"

My first answer would have to be a random selection from stockholders... I chose Diamond/Diamond + for the poll. I am currently Platinum, but agree that loyalty deserves its rewards... and not all Diamond + sailors stay in OS ;)

I suppose it's the time of year that we cruise, but we've never been on a ship that doesn't have the "sorry, full ship, no changes" by the reception desk. Do you think they put that out there every time, so no one will ask?
