Drinking water

Hi everyone,

I'm a rookie, just booked our 1st cruise on Empress of the Seas (Feb 26, 2007) for 11 days. So, I'll have a lot of questions. Let's start with a short one. Is bottled drinking water provided by RC or do I have to purchase my own? If purchasing my own, can I pack some in my

suitcase???? :confused:

The drinking water on the ship is from the tap - but it is better and purer than most bottled waters you can get at home. Bottled water is available for sale on the ship.

No need to spend $$$ on water that can be had for free! You will get ice delivered to your room twice a day--so you can partake of delicious iced tap water! Free! Gratis!! Aahhhhh!

You can bring extra bottled water on board if you like...we did. (Just back from the Empress this past Saturday). Also, there will be bottled water and cans of soda in your room...if you use them, you will be charged. I drank the water from the ship....and had some of my own for the room, and to bring when we were in port. Happy sailing...you will love this ship!
