Question

Are the full suites allowed to order from the full menus?

On Celebrity they will allow full meals with even the CC class rooms.

Thought Princess was comparible

Yes, you will even be provided with menus that will be placed in your suite each day.

That actually makes sense since the Crown and Caribbean Princess hold about the same amount of passengers. Hard to figure out what is acceptable to do and what isn't when it changes depending on the ship and class of ship you sail on. :(

So, how was your cruise?

Seagar-Cruise was great. Perfect food, perfect weather and very calm seas. As for the food part, I think it was even better (if that is possible) then it was the first time we sailed on the CB. Although we are seafood lovers, both of us agreed that Octoberfest up at the Cafe (the third night) was one of the best meals we have had on a ship in years. Desserts on the CB are also some of the best afloat we have ever tried in 30 cruises. This is the one ship where dining for us is strictly at the Cafe Caribe. Only entered the dining room for the captain's luncheon.

Casino was very kind to me and the second day I hit a jackpot enough to play anytime I wanted to without worrying about loosing. That kept DH happy as he knew I was playing on THEIR money instead of his. ;)

Only thing that seemed to be a real problem is that the mattress in our mini seemed to be the old type, not the new upgraded mattress, which made sleeping a bit on the iffy side. Hopefully, they will get these changed out soon as I thought it was supposed to be complete fleet wide by the first of this year, but evidently, I am wrong, as they still were using the old type mattress. They did replace the balcony furniture the day before we disembarked with the new fire retardent type, so that is good news.

Booked two catamaran tours, Full day to St. John and the Golden Eagle (somewhere around the 5th time for us on the Eagle). Great tours BUT, lots of newbies on this cruise and over half got seasick on the full day cat and a bunch on the Golden Eagle. Kind of put a damper on the fun watching everyone with their heads in buckets all day long.

Princess Cays was a hot and sunny day and we just lived in the water for the time we were there. Perfect day for a beack day.

Great get-a-way for the week though and I think this will hold us until December when we sail again on the Sea Princess to the Southern Caribbean for two weeks.

My husband & I were in the maidian voyage Crown in June of this year. We booked two Minisuites, one for us and one for our "young adult" boys. We had a wonderful time and we are still talking about the great vacation we had, however we tried to order a full hot breakfast on two different times and we were told that they NO LONGER DO THAT-They even called from kitchen and told us that the night be our delivery. I got the idea to try this from these boards, but it didn't work. Oh well, we just got up and went to the dinning room, we were not going to let a little thing like that spoil our vacation. We have cruised many times and have found that the more felixable you are, the better time you have on your vacations!
