Would visiting Bermuda on the Queen's Birthday (June) waste a day?

We are thinking to visiting Bermuda in June 05. The Monday we would like to arrive is the Queen's Birthday which is a legal holiday. I'm wondering if it would be a wasted day on the island because so many things are closed down. If anyone has visited during this time or any legal holiday, would you please comment? Thanks

The beaches will not be closed and you can walk through town(s)though the stores may be closed, but I have been there on holidays and just loved it as there were no crowds per se.The buses will run on a limited schedule, but you can get around.there will some places open to eat,but it won't be a wasted day unless you want to shop.If you are going on a cruise you always have the ship to go back to.
