Pros & Cons of a hump cabin

Thanks for all the information, I am going to stick with the D2, its a balcony and a little bigger room and anyway, how long are you in your room? I spend more time on the Promenade then I do my room, LOL. and a balcony is a balcony, unless you have a lot of people in your cabin or want to throw a party I dont know why you would need a bigger balcony then a side one, big enough to have coffee on and thats all I care about.

Another hump question - we booked it a year ago for the Thanksgiving Explorer of the Seas sailing but on deck 7. On another thread someone said something about lifeboats below or obstruction the view from deck 7 - but I think that may have been a different class of ship. I'd hate to think I booked an obstructed view a year in advance. Is a deck 7 hump as good as the other decks??
