When do they decorate for Christmas?

When we were on the Disney Magic two years ago the week after Thanksgiving - the ship was already decorated. Does Royal Caribbean do this as well? We will be on the Legend of the Seas on November 25, 2006. Thanks for the info.

Yes.

 

We were on the Navigator the week after Thanksgiving. They started decorating the Saturday we boarded. Beautiful decorations too. A Christmas tree 3 stories high in the dining room.

On the Navigator in 04 they started decorating the ship mid week and we were on the first week of December. This past December we also left the first week of December on the same ship and it was decorated when we stepped on board.

We are going on Dec.11. I was told on this board they decorate right after Chrsitmas. I am anticapting the decorations. Our granddaughter is joining us. I can't wait. I have bought my formal dress and it is red! I rarely wore red. But my daughter's expression on her face told me, that's the dress.

I'm sure that you ment "right after Thanksgiving".:)

 

They normally start during the first week in December, and by the 2nd week...........the holidays are with us!!

Oops! :eek: Posted after working my second 12 hour day! :D

Last Nov. we sailed Serenade the Sat. after Thanksgiving..... they started putting up decorations while we slept the first night out. The second night out they finished putting them all up. Was nice.

 

My dd and myself will be on Legend for 11/11 sailing :) No decorations but had other things on the calendar for Thanksgiving this year.

My husband and I sailed on the Mariner beginning November 27, 2005 and it was beautifully decorated when we boarded. A huge, beautiful Christmas tree, lights and poinsettias everywhere. It was very pretty!

We went on Voyager the day after thanksgiving last year and the Huge Xmas tree was already up in the main dinning room. During the first few days of our cruise they decorated the promanade.

We did one of those short Catalina/Ensenda cruise the week during Thanksgiving and the ship was decorated when we boarded. It was actually a nice touch.

We sail Dec 29th also for 4 nights on the Sovereign of The Seas. We did her New Years Cruise out of Port Canaveral last year (2005) and had a blast. Yes the christmas decorations are still up until the last night of your cruise.
