LHP Posted September 27, 2006 #26 Share Posted September 27, 2006 Never mind...I found a map. I was getting the Punta pier confused with what I called the International Pier that Carnival owned. I think I have them all straight now. Tender dock - Downtown Cozumel Punta dock - across from the new (now old) CarlosNCharlies International dock (owned by Carnival) - across the street from nothing (until they get the pier rebuilt and that new mall completed~ where the No Name Bar used to be)
wrp96 Posted September 27, 2006 #27 Share Posted September 27, 2006 LHP, Carnival owned the Puerta Maya pier (the one with all the shops). The International Pier is a different pier. It is the one that RCCL used and is the one that reopened first. It is closer to town than Puerta Maya. The Punta Langosta Pier is a different pier than either the Puerta Maya pier or the International Pier.

wrp96 Posted September 27, 2006 #29 Share Posted September 27, 2006 wrp96 is correct! Thanks for confirming that. I posted then I got this feeling that I would look really stupid correcting someone else if I was the one that was wrong.:p

Tendering International Pier (RCCL) Punta Langosta Pier - across from the CarlosNCharlies Puerta Maya - Carnival's pier that had all the shops And Carnival's pier is the only one that has not been reopened. got it!! Thanks guys. (I have no idea why I needed to know that so badly...but it was really bugging me!)
