New Wine Policies

Just wondered if anyone has brought wine onboard since the new policy went into effect in July. Our friends that we travel with own a winery and we always bring a few bottles of their wine onboard. They sound very serious about asking you to leave the ship if you violate this policy. Wouldn't want to create a big problem, but sure enjoy having their wine available for inroom consumption.

Thanks for the help.

I too am curious about what is going to happen, and several people have posted about this subject. From what I can gather is that if you put it into your carry-on when boarding it is less of an issue than if you just carry some on board. Of course it is anyone's guess as to what will happen. I think we are going to buy one bottle at the first port and see how easy it is to get aboard then and go with it from there.

You have been warned...now...it is business as usual. The wording has been strengthened because of impending law suits of alleged negligence on the part of the lines. "Cover Thine A** And Thou Shalt Not Be Sued". There have been too many incidents of underage drinking and over indulgence at the bars. As the general cruise population grows in numbers so too do the problems associated with cruising.

As for your question: just continue to do what you have been doing...discretely...enough said.
