sunsetme Posted September 24, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 24, 2006 Supposedly there is a formal night--is there lobster?
bububr Posted September 24, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 24, 2006 As far as I can remember, on our 3-day PNW cruise they didn't serve lobster. Lobster is usually served on the second or third formal night along with baked alaska and the grand buffet to follow. On the short cruises they eliminate a number of events, as the cruise is just too short to fit everything in. They are still a lot of fun and well worth it. Dave:eek: But to answer your question, there IS a formal night. We choose to wear our dinner jackets on the short cruises. Most wore dark suits, some slackers wore a sportscoat with or with out a tie.
Rare DrKoob Posted September 24, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 24, 2006 We did a three day PNW cruise on Infinity and alas, no lobster. We did have an incredible lobster bisque in the United States. And even though they said in advance that there would be a formal night, there wasn't. It was kind of formal/informal (not casual). We saw very few tuxes.
