Rare mdgary Posted October 7, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 7, 2006 We just made reservations for the 24 June Caribbean Princess directly with Princess using FCC and see better rates with one of the online agencies. Haven't called to online agency yet but what to find out if I transfer the booking that I get the better rate and still only have to use FCC for deposit and keep onboard credits? chrysalis Posted October 7, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 7, 2006 yes, you can transfer the booking to any agent (online or otherwise), and you still get all the FCC benefits. Very simple..and people do it all the time.
West Coast Posted October 8, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 8, 2006 You'll need to contact the agency you want to transfer to. Get a price quote and then let them know you are booked directly with Princess and that you would like to have them 'take over' the booking. You will need to send a fax to Princess with details of the booking and who to transfer/release it to; their fax number is: 1-661-753-0180. The receiving agency will give you their phone number they have on file with Princess and you need to include this information in the fax. After you send the fax, it will take Princess a day or two to make the change in their system and the TA will be notified. The TA will then need to go in and 're-price' the booking. For you, it should really not be a problem and the receiving agency should be happy as they are getting the commission on something that Princess has done the work on. You get the benefit of a lower price plus a TA to work with.
