Formal? Could I use this color?

I purchased a beautiful "Aqua Blue" formal dress for an upcoming wedding. I was wondering could I use this for my cruise formal too? I have a short black dress for one formal night but this dress is mid to long ( angles at the bottom) and I would love to wear it again! :P

Sure! I always love seeing women in something other than black. Don't get me wrong, I've got a "little black dress" myself for one formal night, but I also have a bright pink cocktail dress!

color is a marvelous thing! Why blend into a sea of black if you don't have to? If you haven't already done so, please read the thread What Color is your Formal?

Black is NOT the only color allowed on formal night.

 

Aqua blue would be a great color for a cruise dress! :D

Oh most certainly wear a colored gown or dress... Formal night is like a prom..any color dress goes...And that could be any length also. Mine is long, but my grown daughter has a short dress, and its dressy... I love to see colors.... The 2nd dress up night, I will have pink on also ...

 

Just a little note here for the guys... You do not have to wear a Tux either..A nice suit is fine for you men... You see both...So its your choice...
