SReeder Posted July 16, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 16, 2004 My husband and I will be sailing the Western Mediterranean in August and was curious to know if we needed any other documents other than our passports for the follow ports (i.e. VISA) My husband and I are also in the military and hold SOAFA Stamps in our passports, if that helps with answering this question. Rome, Italy Mykonos, Greece Santorini, Greece Valleta, Malta Barcelona, Spain Villefranche, France
Aussie Gal Posted July 16, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 16, 2004 We are Australians and we don't need any visas for Spain, France, Italy, Greece or Malta. I am sure if you are a U.S. citizen you would probably be the same as us. Jennie

Globaliser Posted July 16, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 16, 2004 And if you want confirmation, try this page from the Delta Air Lines website for access to the database that airlines use for the same information.
samscruiser Posted July 16, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 16, 2004 http://www.state.gov Takes you to the US State Dept. website. There you can check VISA requirements by country, innoculation requirements (if any), and travel warnings by country. Also had phone numbers of US Embassies/Consulates by City/Country, which is good emergency info to have with you when traveling abroad. Of course some of the info is applicable only to US citizens, but some items, like travel warnings, would be good for all.
