jentroubles Posted November 4, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2006 Okay...i admit it, I can't wait for my next cruise! I've been watching the boards and see that all has been quiet about the Majesty lately. Has anyone been on her lately? Does anyone have the new menus from her or at least the new LeBistro? Can anyone tell me about the spa? Any dailies? Thanks for getting me through a dreary weekend!!!:D

Barb Nahoumi Posted November 4, 2006 #5 Share Posted November 4, 2006 I'd like to fly to Charleston, visit this lovely city, then sail the Majesty back to Boston. Just a thought for now. I love that ship. Barb
jentroubles Posted November 4, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted November 4, 2006 We are driving down and back (from PA). What do you love about her Barb???? I've never been on the Majesty, but adored the Spirit and was so so about the Dawn. (it might have been more the really obnoxious people, and gads of wild children on summer break) I've read all I can, but am hoping for some good food, plenty of trivia and some other activities and some luck in the casino! Hi, I love the fact that the Majesty is a smaller very homey ship. I've been aboard twice for Boston-Bermuda cruises. No, it does not have all of the bells & whistles that the Dawn & Spirit have, but the crew is sooo friendly & helpful. They really work hard to give the passengers a quality cruise. Some posters have written about poor food, but that might be due to the new menus. We went before the menu change. We did do trivia, bingo, shows, and lots of other fun stuff. Bermuda is a beautiful island, and I can't say enough about it. I don't think that you'll find many wild children on this ship if you cruise when school is in session. Families might prefer the larger ships with the climbing walls and skating rinks. Barb
cew1 Posted November 5, 2006 #14 Share Posted November 5, 2006 Jen, I will let you know how the ship is when I return...Not long now. Barb I also like the smaller ships. I really liked the Horizon and Zenith both about the same size...Cliff

Leafpeeper Posted November 5, 2006 #16 Share Posted November 5, 2006 I keep waiting for NCL to bring a new ship for the Boston to Bermuda cruises. I heard that the harbor may be widened for larger ships to fit through. I wonder if NCL will have a different itinerary with a new ship and only spend a couple days in Bermuda in the future. I'd love a cruise with Bermuda and Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket combined during the warm weather. Oh well, I can dream. Now that I am reading these positive posts about Majesty, I may have to rethink Bermuda for next year. We were supposed to stop in Bermuda last month on our Crown Princess cruise, but missed it due to high winds. I definetely want to go back to Bermuda and Boston is a great port to cruise out of. I noticed in 2007 RCCL has a 7 day cruise to Bermuda with a stop in Boston in November. What were they thinking? Do they realize it is only in the 40's in Boston this weekend? Normal temps are only in the 50's this time of year.

Lisas mom Posted November 7, 2006 #18 Share Posted November 7, 2006 Jen: last time we sailed on the Majesty was in September, so I probably don't have the information you're looking for, but I do have a solution for what ails you -- BOOK ANOTHER CRUISE!!!;) Hi. We are thinking of booking the Majesty in June for Bermuda, but I cannot find much information about the cabins. There will be three of us, and we would like a regular suite, not a royal suite. Does the sofa pull out into a bed. Is it a full bath with tub. Do you know the square footage of the room? Thanks for your help.
