Changing dining times

First time on RCCL and were assigned late dining, prefer early dining.

 

Has anyone had any luck changing dining time? How do you go about doing that? Does it involve tipping?

No tipping needed! Just call either RCI or your TA, however you booked, and make the change. If, for some reason, they can't switch you right now, they'll do it by at least the 2nd night. No worries!

As soon as you board the ship search for the Maitre D´ and ask him for the change. Usually it won`t be a problem. There are several people who want to switch. Maybe you have to stay with your seating for the first night, but it should be changed already for the second day.

They opened up the line to verify/change seating assignments at 1:00 on the first day of our recent cruise. Get in line early, we arrived at 12:40 and were about 20 deep in the line. I think you'll have a better chance changing from late to early instead of early to late.
