Hi ....

Well, in my opinion, your choice is CASA DENIS, establish in 1945, real home made, don't expect found air conditioner, only 12 or 15 tables, but the food is mmmmmm good :D !! located in downtown www.casadenis.com you cant see the menu, the prices are very reasonable, for example me and my wife pay 22 US. Soup, main dish and couple of drinks, real regional food like ..yes, YUCATECAN CHICKEN STYLE (Pibil)!!!....you now what? in 1968 Jackie Onassis eat in this place ... Placido Domingo eat in this place too a few years a go ... imagine how good is !!!. Also, you can found some interesting pictures on the walls !!!

Enjoy your trip !!!!

La Choza. They, too, serve very authentic Yucatecan food. Also very good.

And, I agree with Salvador at Nachi Cocom. Casa Denis is excellent! This restaurant is a very historic spot in Cozumel. If you visit, make sure you go inside and look at all of the pictures of "special guests" that have eaten there. Yes, Jacqueline Kennedy Onasis is one as is Placido Domingo.
