What time can you board?

We will be on the Empress of the Sea in February. Our cruise leaves at 8:00 pm. What time will they allow us to get on the boat? Which pier does Royal Caribbean dock at?:)

On all our cruises we have gotten to the pier around 10:30 or 11:00 and were on the boat around 12 or so no matter what time the departure time is. Your room will not be ready until 1, but you can go to lunch at the buffet and start your vacation,

If you're sailing out of San Juan then you will be leaving from the Pan American pier which is down and across from old San Juan.

I would assume you are speaking of departing from San Juan, which would put you at the Pan Am Pier. We've been able to get on board by 10:30 am in general. It can vary, but I would bet on between 10:30 & 11:30.
