HAL Inside Passage Cruise Route

Although I understand it is all up to the Captain's discretion, Does anyone know if the HAL Zaandam and Zuiderdam Inside Passage cruises normally take the route through Grenville Passage?

I traveled on the Statendam a number of years ago and we went through there and it was beautiful. We're hoping to be able to travel through it again.

Thanks for your help!

Sadly not, not enough time with Misty Fjords in the itin and a late Juneau arrival, 2 pm. Fixed route for Zaandam and Zuiderdam is Vancouver-Seymour Narrows-Johnstone Strait-Pine Island-Queen Charlotte Sound-Hecate Strait-Dixon Entrance - Outside- Chatham Strait Stevens Pass-Misty Fjord-Gastineau Channel-Juneau. So No Bella Bella, Grenville channel. Perhaps with the Gulf ships out of Vancouver, they have more time on the first day as they go to Ketchikan instead of Juneay 2nd day.

Thanks for the information. It's sad that they don't follow the Grenville Channel anymore since it's so beautiful.

Can you provide details on the rest of the route?

Thanks!

Certainly, Juneau-Gastineau Channel-Stephens Passage-Lynn Canal-Skagway-Lynn Canal-Icy Strait-Glacier Bay (J Hopkins-Margerie) Icy Strait-Pacific Ocean- Decision Pass- Sumner Strait- Clarence Strait- Tongass narrows- Ketchikan- Tongass Narrows- Dixon entrance and then the same way southbound as the way north. Hope this helps.

Mister X, quick question and off-topic if you don't mind?

Is the orange-colored RHIB on the port side, the primary rescue boat on board (i.e. in case of a man overboard)? And/or is one of the regular tender boats used for that purpose?

Hartelijk bedankt!
