airport code for Savona, Italy

Can someone please tell me the airport code for Savona. I tried to put in the town name, Savona and it came back no such place. Thank you

Can someone please tell me the airport code for Savona.

Do you know that there is an airport there? I can't find one there, and I've never heard of there being one.

Looking at the map, and judging this by eye, the nearest airport is probably Genova (Genoa) = code GOA.

 

The next nearest is probably Torino (Turin) = TRN.

 

But the nearest big airports look like Milan (Malpensa = MXP, Linate = LIN) and Nice = NCE.

Thanks to everyone for your response. I know the ship sails from Savona so we would probably have to fly into Genoa. I wonder how far the is from the dock.
