What is the strangest thing you found left in your room?

It wasn't really strange but on the last day when we were checking the cabin to make sure we hadn't left anything, I found a new evening purse that someone had purchased on the ship. It still had the price tag on it ($10). It was up in the life jacket shelf. I'm taking it on my next cruise!:D

That sounds like something I would tell my hubby.

" I didn't buy anything- I just found it". LOL

Dh and I found a pair of swim trunks on the top shelf of the closet, and our friends, who were next door to us, they found a checkbook full of checks, and the top check had been made out to someone, and quite a few thousand dollars in the amount line, then signed!!! can you believe that? Our friends turned it in to the pursers desk, told them this checkbook was found under the bed in their cabin... things were terribly mixed up i guess, the pursers desk the next day, called our friends cabin, and told them someone had turned in their checkbook!!! our friends had to explain, its NOT OURS!!! its from a past guest that was in our cabin....

hows THAT for a surprise?????

One late supper, two people at our table were served ''cold escargots'' it was awfull, I had no choice but spit it into the napkin, so did the man next to me.

On the next supper, we were please to ear that everybody from our table found a box of Belgium chocolate, in their stateroom

On our last cruise they left a bottle of chrome bathroom fixture cleaner on the countertop. DH wondered if we could get a discount if he had me clean the bathroom, since we had the stuff. I got him back though. I told him it was for making bald heads shine like chrome. They did leave it on his side of the counter.

I found a silver CZ dinner ring, nothing I would wear so I had no problem turning it in-ofcourse even if it had been real I would have, but I might would have wanted to keep it it!

We have also found a drawer with clothing in it. It was men's underwear (tee shirts briefs, socks) but it was folded neatly so I assume clean but we did have the steward remove it. I guess the last occupant missed a drawer when he packed for home.

On a The NCL Star we found a digital camera SD card behind the safe. My wife down loaded the photos when we returned home and they were all X rated of a couple that had the room sometime before us. My wife could not believe people did those sort of things and all I could think about was “that lucky guy”.

We once returned to our stateroom to get something during the evening cleaning and turndown service. The stewardess stepped out of the room, but forgot to take with her the bag of chocolates that she places on the pillows. They were in a sanitary napkin disposal bag!

I also found a jar of an expensive (Schwartzkopf?) hair care serum under the sink.

Hi, while looking for an electrical outlet my dh found a pair of women's panties behind the bedside table. Needless to say we left them there and asked the room steward to dispose of them.

So THAT'S where I left them!;)

Actually, I think all my underwear are accounted for, but I did leave my bible and journal on the Radiance in 2002!

Anyone find it? Was it a good read??:D

We were on a 10 day Southern on the Sun Princess last January. I opened the safe when we got to the room to put some cash in it. Later on, I was getting ready to head to the casino so I reached up and felt around for my money and I found a beautiful womans watch with a silver band and what must have been 20-30 diamonds on the band and face of the watch. It was a great looking watch but I am not a jeweler, so not sure if the diamonds were real.

I mulled over putting it in a box and surprising my wife but that thought lasted only a few fleeting moments. I turned it in to the Pursers desk and told them which cabin. Never heard anything back however.
