Maasdam or Amsterdam?

New to Holland America.... have been on several Princess ships.

Considering Maasdam or Amsterdam because of ports.

Would appreciate comments on Maasdam and Amsterdam to assist in choice.

I think the Amsterdam is a far better choice. It is a flagship. ALso, take a look at the recent Maasdam threads. Not good reviews.
