cruise terminal from times square

we are staying at the crowne plaza at times square the night before our cruise. does anyone have any idea how far the cruise terminal is from the hotel? so we will know how long we have to play before we leave for the ship. thanks for any help. lauri

Depending on traffic. 10 minutes, if that by taxi. We have done it a number of times.

I live in Manhattan and its pretty close, about 1.5 miles. Shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes on a good day. But in Manhattan it all depends on traffic.

 

If you are leaving in the morning or afternoon during rush hour plan for some extra time, but in the middle of the day you should be alright.

10 minutes would mean alot of traffic. It's less than half a mile.

If you are not burdened with luggage, and able, you can hoof it and be in control of your own time. If you are sailing in the winter and NYC gets socked with a noreaster, be prepared for Plan B and allow a ton of time, if you need a taxi.
