thatbloominplace Posted December 4, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted December 4, 2006 arubalisa, thankyou for the info. i was told on an earlier post that there was no need to book ahead, that it could be done the day we landed in curacao. what is your thought on this? should i book now or just wait until we land. steve
Arubalisa Posted December 4, 2006 #4 Share Posted December 4, 2006 You know Steve, I honestly do not know. With as many flights as there are between the two sister islands, you would imagine there are always plenty of seats, but in the same token, there are plenty of local families and business people flying back and forth between the two islands. I personally know 2 Aruban families who have a brother or sister living (and working) in Curacao. Airplane is the only mode of transportation, there are no ferries, so the airlines have a captive audience, and only a limited number of seats, when it comes to getting people to a specific island on a specific day. I am a planner and do not like unpleasant surprises, so if it were me, I would go ahead and make reseravations.
thatbloominplace Posted December 4, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted December 4, 2006 my thoughts, too. the original thread i read about this was pretty adamant about doing this upon arrival. sounded risky to me. i will definitely go ahead and reserve the seats now. thanks again. steve
