Colo Cruiser Posted December 6, 2006 #26 Share Posted December 6, 2006 Yes..this is true..... but I was just curious about "Joseph 123"'s comment about the Crown going into dry dock next year. Is it really going into dry dock next year? (Haven't been on this website for the past month, did I miss something?) No dry dock for the Crown. :)
piper28 Posted December 6, 2006 #27 Share Posted December 6, 2006 Some of these posts have given me a laugh! In any event, check out the photos below (I hope they can be viewed). As I mentioned, the light was there on the first several sailings but mysteriously disappeared and was never replaced. I've gotta guess that it probably got damaged during the tilt, and for some reason just hasn't been replaced. Maybe they have to special order the part and it's just taking a while. I'll have to dig through my photos and see if it was there at the beginning of the cruise (although a camera fault wiped out a good chunk of my ship photos from the first day). Looks like it would have been a convenient place to grab hold of as everything went sideways, and probably couldn't withstand that.
