Still looking for casual dinner spot New Year's Eve Miami

We are staying at the Marriott Courtyard Downtown New Year's Eve. Would like to find a casual dinner location. Looked at some of the upscale steak houses and we would be lucky to get by with a $300 bill. That would pay for most of our wine on the cruise.

Really don't want to dress up. Sushi, Italian, Mexican, Brazilian, could all suit the bill.

Can anyone help?

We have seen these on the marriott site. If you notice the 1st one is the Capital Grill and they have an expensive formal dinner menu for New Year's that would run over $300 with no trouble at all.

We are really looking for a recommendation by either a local or someone that has had a good experience at a less posh restaurant. That is why I said Sushi, Mexican, etc.

Thanks anyway

A friend of Frank Delrios has a fabulous Cuban restaurant in Miami..if that is something that you would like..I will get the name and phone number for you..Stu and I had dinner there with 3 other couples and it was the BEST!!!
