Saw your message earlier about this cabin. We just stayed in it and it was very nice. The top of the life boat (#13 no less) comes about to the floor of the balcony. You can't see down to the dock, but since we weren't going through the canal, who cares? I was able to find some shade out there to read. There is extra storage above the sofa bed. We visited friends' cabin and they didn't have this. The steward, Eko, said he will be there until sometime in Feb. He is very efficient and a nice young man, knew our names right away. We were close to the mid stairwell and it wasn't too far to the aft stairwell which goes to the dining areas. Not alot of noise there. Not many drawers, just shelves, but I managed to put everything away. There are 2 big drawers under the foot of the bed, but that's where the bedspread and extra bedding goes. Also a hassock but some passengers said that the towel animals live in there! Hope you enjoy your cruise.
