Best with kids?

We're thinking about Alaska with our 3 kids: they'll be 3, 8 and 10. Which line has the best kids programs? We've done the Carnival Spirit in the Carribean twice so we're leaning away from that.

 

Because of the long flights, we were going to do r/t Vancouver this time, maybe do a longer cruise-tour including Anchorage and Denali when they're a little older. Thanks !

We're doing the Golden Princess on June 2 for the same reason. Our daughter will be 9 during the cruise. We will do the whale watching trip in Juneau, rent a car and drive to Emerald Lake in Skagway, and not sure about Ketchikan. We may do a flight seeing trip in Ketchikan.

Don't know about the "best" kids' programs - but I do know that RCCL has really good programs for kids. We last sailed with our kids when they were about about 9 and 11, and they really enjoyed the Adventure Ocean program.

 

We are sailing r/t out of Vancouver in mid-June with a 14 yo and a 17 yo. We're doing a helicopter ride to a glacier in Juneau and the White Pass train ride in Skagway. My daughter and I are also doing the Musher's Camp and Sled Dog experience in Skagway (husband and son not interested in that tour).

 

BTW, Frontier Airlines just announced service to Vancouver beginning in May 2007 - and they have great introductory pricing for tix purchased before Jan 31.

Funny how different people thing--we've also cruised the Carnival Spirit twice (once Southern Caribbean and once Alaska) and the family's excited about sailing her again in August! :)

 

We sailed Princess on our last cruise and they had a great kids' program. So, they may be an option for you.
