lizstas Posted July 20, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2004 We're booking a little late this year and always like to cruise the first few weeks of December. Not too much available for Southern Carribean so we were considering the Mexican Riveria. How is the weather in general? Are the seas rough in comparison to the carribean? CruiseCATnMACK Posted August 1, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 1, 2004 We were on the Pride in December and the weather was a little cool the first sea day. Coming back was also a little windy with some chop. It was an excellent cruise; however, it is not the Caribbean.

Splinter Posted August 2, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 2, 2004 Once you are past Cabo, the seas should be pretty calm. It can be rough on the western side of Baja both going down and coming back during that time of year though. The weather in December (once you are past Cabo) is usually warm and dry and clear though. Plan on warm clothing for your first and last day...December is winter in Southern California, and with the wind it will definitely not be shorts weather. PeggySand Posted August 8, 2004 #5 Share Posted August 8, 2004 Take GOOD CARE of the Mercury on your cruise, as we will be boarding when you get back to San Diego. Our cruise date is 12/06/04. This will be our first time sailing with Celebrity, and also our first time with a veranda. Do you have any suggestions for shore tours? I read some where about a Tecilla trip, Sailing in Cabo. Look for all of these heer on this site. Doug
