Legend Leaves Tampa!

I always get a chuckle out of people who post exaggerated titles for their postings, so I thought I'd try it out myself. I happened to be sitting at the computer last night at 4:50 p.m. EDT and used the Tampa webcam to watch the Legend sail. I you're a Legend fan (or soon to be one, like me), I hope you enjoy. And if you're sailing on the January 13, 2007, Legend sailing, stop by our Roll Call and sign up for our Meet & Mingle if you haven't already done so. Thanks!

We LOVE the Legend!!!

To be quite honest, we just returned from the Voyager of the Seas, and only after sailing the Voyager class did we realize how much we truly loved the Legend when we sailed her last year.

Size does matter to us, and for us, we'll stick to ships in the Vision or Radiance class. So perfect. Nothing against the Voyager or Freedom class at all. We had a GREAT time, had great service, wonderful food and made great memories. The Voyager and all she offered was a sight to behold, but we just realized that we are most likely mid-size ship cruisers.

Thanks for the lovely pics...makes us miss the Legend even more!

I Really enjoyed those shots of Legend sailing out of Tampa. We are Legend lovers from across the pond..having sailed on her twice out of Southampton. August this year being the last. As I am also a former Floridian..it was great to see her leaving from Tampa as well. Hopefully....we will be sailing on Legend again in August 2007....when she sails from Rome (Civitavecchia) thru Italy and Croatia. She is an absolutely beautiful ship ...with a fantastic crew. We always feel like we have returned home when we step onboard. We are made to feel so welcome. Happy Sailing to all those with cruises coming up...hope you have as great a time as we did. Many thanks again...Carol

I sailed the Baltic on Legend in July 2001. It was 12 days, from Harwich, UK to Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki, St Peterburg, Tallin, and Copenhagen. Awesome cruise, awesome staff, the wife and I racked up a $1300 bar bill on that one ;)

Back when RCCL had their Royal Journeys program, this ship ran the best intineraries IMO. I can't wait until RCCL goes back into the Asian market.
