Question About Hawaii Cruise????

If you leave the mainland from a foreign port (Enseneda, Mexico, or Vancouver, B.C.), it takes about five days at sea to reach Hawaii, and the ship's casino will be open. If you are doing a 7-night round-trip cruise FROM Hawaii...no casino, as gambling is illegal in Hawaii.

Hi imsulin,

I was not paying that much attention to the casino, after 'contributing' my share I did not care much if it was open or not, but I think that even in Hawaii once we got in the international waters between the islands the casino was open.

If you're doing the NCL Pride, there isn't a casino, and most cruise ships don't open their casinos while cruising in the vicinity of the islands which means they won't be open at all until you're doing the crossing part of the cruise which means from Ensenada to Hawaii or the reverse.
