MercedMike Posted December 29, 2006 #2 Share Posted December 29, 2006 Our favorite thing in Ketchikan is the Alaskan Ducks http://www.akduck.com/ Check our website at The Halls Go to Alaska for some good pics of the Ducks, including the eagle's nests. Have a GREAT cruise!

crazy 4 cruising Posted January 9, 2007 #9 Share Posted January 9, 2007 You may want to drop your expectations some, there is NO comparism to the Boston- world famous duck tours, and Ketchikan. :) Certainly enjoyable for some. thanks. I've been to Ketchikan, so I know how small it is. I ove it tho--we walked form the ship to the totem pole museum and fish hatchery. there was an injured eagle at the fish hatchery--WOW, up close & personal, it was fantastic. The duck boats are so much fun & I am really lookinf forward to it, but will realize that it is not on the same level as Boston.
