Wallybirds Posted July 22, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 22, 2004 I am thinking of booking a cruise on Princess Cruise Line and would like to see how full the ship is. Any way to do this? Maybe What I am looking for is what cabins are still avaible. Can anyone help me??? Thank You, Janet
MichelleandMike Posted July 23, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 23, 2004 Try one of the travel web sites do everything you would to book a cruise it will show you what is available. Suggestion travelocity, smartcruiser or expedia
fodorspeter Posted July 23, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 23, 2004 a limited number of cabins for booking, even if the entire ship were bookable. I know of no way to determine the number of unbooked cabins by category. Peter
LARGIN Posted July 23, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 23, 2004 Why worry? Just pick the ship you want and go for it.. With cruise travel as popular as it is right now, most ships sail full or very close to it.
belin Posted August 1, 2004 #5 Share Posted August 1, 2004 Go on Icruise and follow directions after you pick the cruise line or the destination. Is the best one and it will tell you what rooms are available on every deck.
wieslaw Posted August 2, 2004 #6 Share Posted August 2, 2004 Peter is correct; I have seen answers to the same question in other posts given in some cases by people closely connected with the cruise industry. No cruise line will show you or the other cruise lines what inventory they have at any given time........there is competition. You can only see a small portion what is out there and even that changes from hour to hour: some cabins are held and then released back in the system (someone gets reservation for a day or two, changes their mind, does not book and cabin is available again). Some agencies might 'block' a number of cabins but if not sold they will go back to the cruise line. Wes
