Port of Miami on Lockdown

This morning about 8AM a semi-tractor trailer rig hauling a containerized freight unit was detained at the Port of Miami. An Iraqi was driving, and tried to conceal two other Arab individuals in the sleeper cab. All the authorities including ICE, FBI, Homeland Security, Miami-Dade Bomb Squad, etc are on the scene.

I'm very glad that I'm not going into or out of the Port of Miami today. It must be a nightmare down there (even more so than it usually is).

I guess we can nix this thread. Some sort of communication problem between the gate guard and the suspects. I can certainly see that happening in Miami. In Miami, chances are it was one person who hardly speaks English talking to another who hardly speaks English. One thing for sure, it gave the authorities a good drill. It appears as though they have their act together at the Port of Miami. All's well that ends well.
