St. Maarten taxi rentals

Recommended Posts

I have pictures on my webshots album that shows the prices for the taxis. The price goes down depending on how many people you have.

I highly recommend you check it out.

As far as a great beach, you might want to check out the "ports of call" section on this board. They have a forum for just St. Maarten, and I'm sure you would get many great advice tips from the cruisers there.

Trunk Bay is on St. Thomas .... well St. John, but you get to St. John by taking a ferry from St. Thomas.

When docking at St. Thomas, exit the ship and take a taxi to Red Hook.

Then take the ferry to Cruz Bay, St. John.

Then take another taxi to Trunk Bay

Then pay $4 entrance park fee to use the beach. Its awesome!!!!!

On Trunk Bay??

Yes to both.

My friend Fran .... aka Joyce .... got a drink and then went into the water with it. So yes it can be done.

You can rent snorkeling gear and then the snorkeling path is over toward the rock area. They have stones at the bottom to guide you along the way too. Its really neat.

Go to the Port Of calls-St. Martin. I got a lot of beach info there, restaurants, places to get chairs, etc. We are spending the day on Orient Beach and going to try Pirates Beach Bar. For 12.00 you get 2 nice loungers, umbrella, and 2 drinks. On their website they have their menus along with pictures. When do you sail the AOS? We will be on her in Feb. Can't Wait!!
