Disney and then Enchantment or Sovereign???

Hi,

I will be in Disney with my two daughters (8 & 15) this July for a 5 Night stay at Boardwalk Resort. I am thinking about taking a cruise after the Disney thing and is wondering which port is better (Port Canaveral or Fort Lauderdale) for a 3-5 day cruise. I did a quick research and have came down to two selections:

1) Sovereign Of The Seas (Orlando) - 3 Night Bahamas

2) Enchantment Of The Seas (Fort Lauderdale) - 5 Night Western

Has anyone driven to Fort Lauderdale from Orlando? How long of a drive is it? Besides renting a car to drive down myself with two kids (my husband won't be joint us), are there other means of transportation from MCO to FLL?

Any suggestions is appreciated.

Between those two choices, definately drive the extra couple hours for the 5-ngt Enchantment. Orlando to FL is about 2.5 - 3 hours.

I love the Sovereign, but I vote the longer Enchantment cruise all the way!
