trout96 Posted January 13, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2007 I booked a trip through a travel agent for the first time over the phone, normally we do it face to face and get something right away then recieve papers in the mail soon after. How long should it take to send out cruise brochures and an interary? I already paid the credit card bill....How long to wait for papers? I don't know if 3 weeks is long or not?? thank you for any help you can give.
98Charlie Posted January 13, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2007 Was this one of the major travel agencies? We use one and call our agent when we are ready to book. She takes care of the booking and we get an email confirmation in just a few minutes. Sometimes, even before we hang up:) Was the charge to the cruise line or the travel agency? Again, ours is always charged to the cruiseline. Charlie
Cruzman Posted January 13, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 13, 2007 Did you get a confirmation e-mail showing your booking number and all of the cruise details including pricing? If you have a booking #, you can go to the cruise line's website and get info about your cruise. For your own peace of mind, I think I might contact the cruise line directly to verify the booking. Arwenmark Posted January 13, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 13, 2007 Yes did the charge on your account show the cruise line or the agency? other than that When are you sailing? you don't get cruise documents to close to sailing time. and some now use only e-docs.
