walk or taxi to Sunset ? rest

does anyone know whether it is a doable walk to this restaurant near the dock or should we plan on catching a cab--we have plenty of time & like to walk but wonder what the area will be like on the way--sidewalks etc???? also I imagine it may be fairly warm.. If we take a cab there will it be difficult to get one to return to the tender pier. Thanks--we leave on Sun.

If so it is 1 mile .... not a bad walk but don't expect sidewalks all the way

 

When time to leave, ask the bar keep to call a cab about 15 min out .... I'm confident he'll help ya (and would not be surprised to hear 3 cab drivers were playin' dominoes at the bar ....)

Virtually no sidewalks to be had along this way once you pass the Eden Rock area. It's a short cab ride, but not many taxis just hanging out there.

Other posters have said that when they asked they were told go for it ....

 

but like any hotel they may not advertise that.....if you are feeding the bar they prob' don't mind. Bring a cooler and camp at the pool? Hit the road.....

we plan to have a nice lunch & spend the afternoon enjoying a few cocktails/beers just enjoying the spot! can't hurt to pack the suits! Will think of you next week-hope we do not miss this port!
