Honeymoon/Anniversary Package

I was looking at that on the website. It says you get:

• Sparkling wine and strawberries in your stateroom upon embarkation

• Canapés delivered to your stateroom one evening

• Complimentary sparkling wine and cake party

• A keepsake photograph

• Romantic dinner for two in Le Bistro with a complimentary bottle of wine

 

Questions:

Can I get something else instead of strawberries? (chocolates?)

What are the Canapes they deliver?

What is the sparkling wine and cake party?

Do they or you pick the time for dinner at Le Bistro?

 

Also, does it have to be a "wedding" anniversary? As corney as it is, DH and I celebrate both our wedding anniversary and the anniversary of our first date, which this year is when we are cruising.

There are no substitutes for the package, you get what you buy. You pick your time for dinner at Le Bistro and book a reservation through your concierge.

You can upgrade your wine at dinner in the Bistro. I have heard of people subsituting cheese and cracker for the canapes.

I would much rather cheese and cracker than canapes. I would think that they might substitute something for strawberries since that is something that some people are allergic to.

You can call or stop by the reservation desk in the Grand Centrum.

The wine and cake party is for all the couples who are celebrating and purchased the package. They have a big cake and each couple take a picture with it and then everyone enjoy it.

 

Dinner at Le Bistro, you pick your own day and time.

 

Funny, don't remember what we had for the canapes.

 

Altogether a worthwhile package.

The package looks like a great value. I plan to ask my kids for it as our anniversary gift (March) for our cruise in May.

I´m interesting in this package too. But I have no possibility to send the order via fax and to call from Germany is a little bit expensive. Is there a possibility to send the scanned order form via eMail?

 

We´ll be on the Jewel in April.

We're definitely going to get this, E&B!! It sounds like a real bargain. And we know how rare those are on a cruise! ;)
